First model kits by Combrig were produced in 1994 - these were armored vehicles in 1/35, made of resin. One year later we have produced a first kit of a warship in 1/700. Symbolically enough, this was a first Russian ironclad Peter the Great, succeeded by great number of ships of the Russo-Japanese war, Soviet Navy and foreign powers, from 1866 to modern days.
We also produce kits in 1/350, represented by Russian and foreign ships. Combrig expects to deliver much more kits in this relatively large scale in the nearest future.
Recent years saw significant changes in technology of making master-models and casting as well. CAD-design, followed with a processing on lathes enable us to produce kits in 1/700 or 1/350 almost simultaneously. New materials allow us to replicate kits fast with highest levels of quality.
Our catalog consists of some 260 kits in 1/700 (more than half of that - Russian and Soviet ships, while the rest - ships of foreign powers) and 26 in 1/350. This year we expect to produce 10-15 new kits in 1/700 and 5-6 in 1/350. Our policy aimed at constant improvement of kits, even if it takes complete re-design.
We work for modelers and try not only produce new kits, but keep older releases available.
