70008 - Russian Gunboat Sivuch, 1884, 1/700

Flat-bottomed ships with fine bow lines and originally brig-rigged. The 229mm was mounted as a bow chaser with 36° training on either side and the 152mm right aft with a total arc of 270°. They were later given three masts.Sivuch was blown up by own crew on Liao river near Sanchahe 2/8/1904 to avoid capture by Japanese. Bobr was 2/11/1904 badly damaged by shells of Japanese field guns in Port Arthur harbour, disarmed and demolished by own crew and finally sank 26/12/1904 by Japanese field guns.
